The ladies of the St. Patrick's Altar Society of Scranton are an active group of women who assist in the environmental decoration of the church based on the Liturgical season. During Christmas, they sponsor a Memory Tree from which ribbons and doves are hung in honor and loving memory of relatives and friends.  The ladies gather to quilt then donate the quilts for fundraising opportunities. The Altar Society supplies liturgical items such as linens and candles. The ladies organize parish dinners, funeral dinners, fundraising dinners and banquets. Each year the ladies of the parish provide a brunch to honor the men on Father's Day. The organization provides financial support for the youth religious education program and Totus Tuus summer program. The ladies support the priest and his mission and pray for the needs of our parish community. The Altar Society meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
