Knights of Columbus Council #7769

KofCThe Knights of Columbus are a dedicated group of Catholic men who volunteer time and skill to help the parish grow. The Knights meet monthly. The men prepare & serve  breakfasts throughout the year to support seminarians and provide scholarships for graduating High School seniors. Through fundraisers such as their Annual Lenten Feast, Golf Tournament and Fall Clay Shoot, the Knights help fund local area charities like Birthright in Emporia and CFO in Burlington. Light of the World

light0ftheworldLight of the World encourages small faith community evangelization in our parishes. The process starts with a retreat to enhance and deepen a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Whether just beginning to seek Christ or already having a relationship with Him, this dynamic retreat is designed to evoke the Holy Spirit and empower the spread of the Love of Christ in each participant and in the parish communities. We have Small Faith Communities that meet in parishioners homes where we support one another through prayer and study. Everyone is encouraged to attend a retreat and join in a Small Faith Community.
